Page Six reported today that Nick Cordero has lost 65 pounds since his battle with the coronavirus first began. The outlet picked up on comments from the Broadway actor’s wife, Amanda Kloots, in which she made yet another surprising claim about her husband’s battle with COVID-19.

On her Instagram Live, Amanda updated fans and followers on her husband’s condition, stating that her man is still fighting the virus and he’s “so weak.” When asked if he could move at all, Kloots said, “no, unfortunately not.”

Amanda said this was precisely the most heartbreaking aspect of the battle thus far. The fact he’s so weak. The actor can’t move because his body has been incapacitated from all the drug treatments, surgeries, as well as the virus itself.

Kloots said that his muscles have broken down, losing around 65 pounds since he was first hospitalized. The 41-year-old has been in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center of Los Angeles since April of this year ever since he and his wife first started noticing symptoms.

As it was previously reported, Nick had his leg taken off due to complications from blood-clotting medication, moreover, doctors put him in a medically induced coma which he has since been taken out of. Cordero also suffered from a lung infection as well.

Previously, the 38-year-old fitness trainer explained that she and her man have a long battle still to fight. Amanda said that Nick may finally be able to leave the hospital in months. That’s their best case scenario at the moment.

Followers of the case know that Amanda has been taking to her Instagram repeatedly ever since Nick was hospitalized. At one point, Amanda explained, doctors told her to say goodbye to her husband because they doubted he would make it.

However, Kloots said she wasn’t going to give up hope because Nick wouldn’t want that and neither would their 1-year-old son. Amid his battle with the virus, their son, Elvis, also had his first birthday. The fitness trainer said it was so sad to see that Nick wouldn’t be able to celebrate the monumental day.
