HOLLYWOOD actor and comedian Kevin Hart is heading to Australia and New Zealand this year, after he announced that his world tour will have a local leg on it for fans.
In December 2018, he will be bringing his Irresponsible Tour to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Auckland.
He will be going to Qudos Bank Arena, Rod Laver Arena, Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Perth Arena and Spark Arena.
Like other stars who are touring Australia this year, Adelaide has been left off his tour schedule too.
His decision to come to Australia comes after he just added a further 100 dates to his world tour. He is going across the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia.
The tour is produced by Live Nation.
Hart has told fans that he promises the show will be “epic” and he “only gets BETTER”.
On Instagram, he also said that “people were going crazy over his new material”.
Hart also just missed out to Dave Chappelle at the Grammy Awards, who took out the best comedy album gong. He was up against Hart, Jim Gaffigan, Sarah Silverman and Jerry Seinfeld.
Hart’s last big box office hit was his role in the hit sequel to Jumanji, titled Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
Sony’s film, which had held the North American lead for three weeks, took in $US16.1 million ($A19.9 million) in one weekend alone, according to box office tracker Exhibitor Relations.
The family film, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and funnymen Jack Black and Kevin Hart, follows a group of teens who find themselves transported inside the video game world of Jumanji.
In 2017, Hart’s memoir ‘I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons’ was a New York Times Bestseller for 10 consecutive weeks.
Hart also voiced the title character in ‘Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie’ last year.
Hart also confessed to cheating on his wife, Eniko Parrish, after someone tried to blackmail him to keep it a secret.
“That’s Kevin Hart in his dumbest moment,” the comedian said last year.
“That’s not the finest hour of my life. With that being said, you make your bed you lay in it. You can’t even say, ‘What were you thinking?’ Because you weren’t thinking.”
In September 2017, Hart apologised to Parish, at that point pregnant with their first child together (he has two from a previous marriage), and his family, after a woman threatened to release sexually suggestive video footage of him if he didn’t pay her up to $US10 million ($A12.3 million).
“Me being wrong, I’m going to face the music,” he continued.
