  • He got into the SM Rookies through the SM Global auditions. He was introduced as the member of SM Rookies on December 17, 2013.
  • After joining the band NCT, he debuted with the band’s first subgroup NCT U on April 4, 2016.
  • As of 2018, he is the only member of the band who has been the part of all the 3 subgroups of NCT including NCT U, NCT 127, and NCT DREAM.
